May 2004 - We made the Writer's Digest 101 Best List again! I'm really proud of the work we've done this past year. We've grown a bit, matured a lot, and will be bringing more great content for writers and illustrators to you in the next year.

| April 3, 2006 - Congratulations to SmartWriters columnist Donna O'Donnell Figurski who writes a regular book review and lesson plan for us called Teacher's Pets. Her page was recognized by the National Education Association as their Site of the Week! Every month Donna gets together with her elementary students to review a newly published book and together they create a dialog about the book, and Donna develops lesson plans for the books and shares them in her column. Teachers all over the country have found this helpful, and it's great to have Donna's work honored here. Thanks, NEA! |
